Credential Direct website gets a makeover

VANCOUVER, CANADA - April 29, 2011 - Credential Direct has unveiled a new website design to online trading clients at credentialdirect.com. The refreshed site is more visually appealing, user friendly and provides a better navigation experience to visitors. 

“Traders still get the same great features and functionality they know and love on our trading platform,” said Lothar Fabian, Credential Direct’s Vice President. “We updated our website to better satisfy our customers with larger fonts for easier reading, bold new colours, a more spacious layout, and streamlined navigation to make finding what you’re looking for even easier.” 

Credential Direct has been ranked Canada’s top online brokerage six times since 2004. The award-winning website continues to centre on creating an optimal user experience that emphasizes easy-to-navigate pages for visitors to access investment tools and information.

The redesigned website will also accommodate a growing influx of individual investors that want to take advantage of the lowest active trader threshold in the industry.

Two months ago, Credential Direct lowered the number of trades required to qualify for low $9.95 commissions to 10 trades (down from 25). This threshold offers substantial savings to individual investors and represents one of the lowest commission structures in the Canadian online brokerage market.
 
In addition to introducing clients to the updated website, Credential Direct plans to unveil a mobile site later this summer. The mobile site will allow users to quickly and easily access their trading accounts from their favourite mobile devices.
