Vancouver, BC — Credential is pleased to announce that Chris Catliff, President & CEO of North Shore Credit Union, has recently been elected to the position of Board Chair, effective May 9, 2011.

“The credit union system has tremendous potential for growth in the area of wealth management, and Credential is a key partner in providing the necessary expertise to achieve this growth”, says Mr. Catliff. “I’m looking forward to working with (Credential President & CEO) Doce Tomic and his team to realize this vision.”

A 25-year veteran of the financial services industry, Mr. Catliff joined North Shore Credit Union in 2000, with a broad set of experiences in leading and developing financial institutions through an emphasis on innovative technology, engaged employees, and premium member service. He has served on the Credential Board of Directors since 2008.

Stephen Bolton, Vice President, Sales & Service Delivery at Libro Financial Group, has been re-elected as Vice-Chair.

Bob Hague, President, Credit Union Distribution at The CUMIS Group, has served as the Board Chair for the past three years and as Interim CEO in 2008. During this time, Credential was able to fulfill its mission of partnering with credit unions to deliver superior wealth management solutions to credit unions and their members in large part because of his dedication and insight. Despite difficult economic times, overall assets under administration continued to grow throughout his tenure. The Credential Board and Management are extremely grateful to Mr. Hague for his leadership and continued dedication to the firm.

Mr. Hague will continue to serve on the Credential Board until the expiry of his term in January 2012.
