Investment Objective

To seek long term growth of capital with a moderate level of current income.

Suitable for Investors who:

  • want more growth more than income.
  • accept considerable fluctuations in the value of their investments.
  • have a medium to high risk tolerance.
  • have an investment time horizon of 5 years or more.

The larger equity proportion in your portfolio is designed to provide a potentially higher long-term rate of return. It will also offer some inflation protection as compared to a portfolio with a larger proportion of fixed income (bonds and income trusts). The fixed income allocation that is part of the EnRich Growth Portfolio will serve to reduce volatility.
 
Investment Strategy
 

Asset Class Diversification
The EnRich Growth Portfolio uses asset allocation to diversify between asset classes (stocks, bonds and cash) in order to maximize the risk-return trade off. The portfolio is further diversified geographically and by the multiple investment styles of your Investment Managers.

The EnRich Growth Portfolio also provides diversification by sector, with each EnRich Asset Pool investing in multiple industries and sectors. Based on these factors, the asset allocation is 75% equity and 25% fixed income. As such, your EnRich Growth Portfolio has the following proportions of underlying asset pools:

  • 25.0% Credential EnRich Income Pool
  • 25.0% Credential EnRich Canadian Equity Pool
  • 25.0% Credential EnRich US Equity Pool
  • 25.0% Credential EnRich International Equity Pool
